In our usual yoga practice
Shavasana is the last and the most important asana in the practice
In Shavasana we let go of all attachments,
let go of all efforts and liberate ourselves from thoughts
Letting one’s self purely surrender to the present and just “be”
slowly releasing all the energy we’ve created during the practice then further absorb it,
bringing our awareness and senses deeper within
to polish our inner lights
TT at SPACE is a beginning for passing on the yoga belief;
it is also my very first Yoga Teacher’s Training
I feel much like a seed that has just sprouted
With trust, love, and heart open wide I stretch out my stems and leaves
In TT, everyday I water the seed a little more, nourish it a little more,
accepting this gift with the quality of Shavasana breath
The nutrition derives from my own devotion to the training,
from Kent and Naichin’s heartful selfless sharing and teaching,
from the beautiful energy that TT mates cultivated together in our learnings
Practicing with a heart of yoga brings out fullness in joy and compassion;
in the process I see my strengths and my imperfections
This makes me really happy, having let go of my ego and prejudice,
embracing the frustrations and growth in the process of learning
The path of yoga is long
I want to walk on with awareness, with a heart of wisdom,
gently taking each step as I inhale and exhale in deep breaths
For every step is a step of light,
a step of blessing
May our inner lights shine brightly.
Namaste,
Crystal
